Since 2013 Dr.Guttler has Been the First US Thyroidologist to Have Experience Learning and Teaching Thyroid RF to Thyroid Physicians. In 2018 he finally began treating patients after late FDA approval.

1. In 2013 Dr.Guttler began thyroid ablation work with a generator system used for work on the liver. It was a very long and thick electrode.
2. I used it until the first thyroid system from Korea was available for my training and teaching.
3. I used the system for many years until a new distributor took the generator away.
4. After that I was able to arrange to obtain a thyroid generator from RGS Healthcare to continue practice and teaching.
5. In 2018 the FDA approved thyroid RF for soft tissue use.
6. I have treated a patient in Brazil with Dr.Leo Rangel as proctor.
7. I returned to begin a study of office based thyroid RF for endocrinologists with Dr.Kathleeen Hands in Texas.
8. There was a long period from 2013-2018 of frustration with the Korean companies who failed to get FDA approval while getting thyroid RF started in all the other areas of the world.
9. I have the most hands on experience with Thyroid RF in the USA.
