Thyroid RFA is now approved for treatment of thyroid nodules in the USA
I am doing a preliminary communication of the safety and effectiveness before starting a larger clinical trial. Thousands of patients in Europe and Asia have had successful treatment with thyroid RFA and it was studied and found safe and effective as alternative to thyroid surgery.
I are interested in 80 thyroid patients with symptomatic or cosmetic issues with their large benign nodule. The pre- RFA evaluation is needed to see if you are a candidate. This includes history, limited examination,thyroid blood tests and a repeat biopsy. If you are found to be a candidate you will sign an informed consent and be on call for the procedure.
The evaluation fee is $750 including neck ultrasound. If needed a repeat biopsy is extra.
The RFA treatment is $6180.
