Thyroid RFA is now approved for treatment of thyroid nodules in the USA
I am doing a study with 80 patients for safety and effectiveness to be done in an endocrine office practice.Thousands of patients in Europe and Asia have had successful treatment with thyroid RFA and it was studied and found safe and effective as alternative to thyroid surgery.
Are you an interested thyroid patient with symptomatic or cosmetic issues with their large benign nodule?
The pre- RFA evaluation is needed to see if you are a candidate. This includes history, limited examination,thyroid blood tests and a repeat biopsy if needed.
If you are found to be a candidate you will sign an informed consent and be on call for the procedure.
The initial evaluation fee is $750. A repeat biopsy if needed is extra.
The RFA treatment is $7180. Insurance is not accepted.
